[News from China Press] 2013 China Beijing Cultural Relic International Expo will be held from November 15 to 18. Compared with the previous expos, the current Cultural Relic Expo will set up a bonded area for the first time, which will attract more overseas precious collections to exhibit in Beijing.

A high-quality art exhibition will frequently have an appraisal of one billion yuan of exhibits. According to the regulations, overseas artworks will have normal customs for entry, and should pay more than 30% of the customs duties, VAT, etc. The hundreds of million yuan of taxes have shut out some overseas precious collections. Through the bonded area, overseas collections can waive taxes and only need to pay some service charge when exhibiting in Beijing. The current Cultural Relic Expo has further expanded the exhibiting proportion of overseas antique dealers, inviting overseas exhibitors from the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan and other countries and specially setting up overseas antiques exhibition areas.

Meanwhile, Capital Museum will also provide exhibitions for these high-end overseas cultural relics. On November 8, the "Buddha Rhyme-Statue Art Essence Exhibition" based on Buddha statues will be kicked off in the museum. The exhibits are high-end cultural relics collected by the domestic and foreign collecting circle.
